Illini Radio Group “Business Builder” Stimulus Program Rules:
Starting Friday, May 1 at 5am through Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 11:59pm, log onto WIXY.com, Mix945.com, Rewind925.com, WYXYClassic991.com, Extra969.com, Hits997.com or PureOldies979.com and enter the Illini Radio Group “Business Builder” Stimulus Program Contest for a chance to win a $15,000 advertising (First Prize), a $10,000 advertising package (Second Prize) or a $5,000 advertising package (Third Prize) (the “Prizes’ or “Packages”). Entry is limited to businesses within the WIXY 100.3, Mix 94.5, Rewind 92.5, WYXY Classic 99.1, Extra 96.9, Hits 99.7 or Pure Oldies 97.9 listening area that wish to advertise on Illini Radio Group stations. This package will run across all Illini Radio Group Stations (WIXY 100.3, Mix 94.5, Rewind 92.5, WYXY Classic 99.1, Extra 96.9, Hits 99.7 and Pure Oldies 97.9) with equal spot distribution, 210 spots per station for the $15,000 winner, 140 spots per station for the $10,000 winner, and 70 spots per station for the $5000 winner to air over a minimum of two weeks. The schedules must air within 90 days of the prize being awarded. Commercials are pre-emptible but will be made good prior to the expiration date. All commercials will air M-SU / 5am-12m. Stations reserve the right to move, substitute, or change the advertising schedule as needed, only guaranteeing that all commercials will air on one or more of the Illini Radio Group stations. This prize will not be considered a substitution for booked schedules. It will be incremental, using the last 12-month average in spending. All copy must be pre-approved by the radio stations. Station reserves the right to decline any illegal or inappropriate message. Commercials involving political or issue advertising, as well as commercials promoting the sale of tobacco products, marijuana/cannabis products, or any goods or services whose advertising is prohibited by the laws or regulations of the state or federal government, will be declined. This package cannot be substituted or used to pay an invoice and is not redeemable for cash.
WIXY 100.3, Mix 94.5, Rewind 92.5, WYXY Classic 99.1, Extra 96.9, Hits 99.7 and Pure Oldies 97.9 will conduct this contest concurrently and simultaneously with other Illini Radio Group stations. Listeners of WIXY 100.3, Mix 94.5, Rewind 92.5, WYXY Classic 99.1, Extra 96.9, Hits 99.7 and Pure Oldies 97.9 will, therefore, be competing with listeners of other radio stations to win the same prize.
No purchase necessary. Businesses may enter once per day, per station. Submitting more than one entry per business per station per day will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.
Deadline to enter is at 11:59pm on Thursday, May 21, 2020. Prize will be won on Friday, May 22, 2020. The prizes are advertising packages from Illini Radio Group valued at Fifteen Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($15,000) (First Prize), Ten Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($10,000) (Second Prize) and Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($5000) (Third Prize). Three winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries on May 22, 2020 and each winner will be awarded one of the three Packages at random (one winner will receive the First Place package, another winner will receive the Second Place package, and the third winner will receive the Third Place package). Illini Radio Group’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. Illini Radio Group will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize. Winner will be responsible for all federal and state taxes, and any fees and incidentals. Prize is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. We will make reasonable efforts to award the prize within 30 days after winning.
Illini Radio Group contests are open to all eligible Illinois and Indiana residents 18 or older who have not won anything on WIXY 100.3, Mix 94.5, Rewind 92.5, WYXY Classic 99.1, Extra 96.9, Hits 99.7 or Pure Oldies 97.9 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Any entry submitted to Illini Radio Group will become the property of Illini Radio Group and may be used in any manner it feels appropriate in the future. By entering this contest, you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third-party ownership rights exist to the entry submitted.
Employees of Illini Radio Group, Saga Communications of IL, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of Illini Radio Group’s main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
General: All decisions of Illini Radio Group are final and shall be binding in all respects. Entry into this contest constitutes permission to use the name or likeness of each prize winner for advertising, trade, and publicity purposes without prior approval and without prior approval and without additional compensation. Additionally, listeners who opt-in acknowledge and give WIXY 100.3, Mix 94.5, Rewind 92.5, WYXY Classic 99.1, Extra 96.9, Hits 99.7 and Pure Oldies 97.9 permission to share their information with sponsors.
This contest is void where prohibited by law. All local, state and federal regulations apply. All giveaways and contests are void where prohibited by law. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, Illini Radio Group reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue this contest (and not award the offered prizes) at the discretion of Illini Radio Group management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant. Illini Radio Group reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated in any way. Illini Radio Group reserves the right to amend these rules to any contest at any time.
