DORSEY, IL (Chambana Today) — Bonnie Kay Luttman, 58, of Staunton, passed away peacefully on March 10, in Urbana, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength and unwavering love for her family.

Born July 22, 1967, in Red Bud, Luttman was one of six daughters and grew up surrounded by family. She went on to dedicate much of her life to caring for others, working as an in-home caregiver where she supported families through some of their most difficult and emotional moments.

Friends and loved ones remember Luttman as someone who made people feel valued and seen. Known for her bold personality and sense of humor, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Above all, her family said she was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, two sisters, and a nephew.

Luttman is survived by:

  • Her children, Claybourne Frank Luttman III and Callie K. Lynn Luttman

  • Several grandchildren

  • Three sisters

  • Numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church, with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Kravanya Funeral Home. Luttman’s loved ones say her memory will live on through the lives she touched, the laughter she shared, and the unconditional love she gave.
