Champaign lane closures near 309 S. First Street – extended date

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – In order to facilitate construction activity at 309 S. First Street, University Group has closed the following lanes:
  •   Northbound lane of Locust Street from Willow Street to Marshall Street
  •   Eastbound lane of Willow Street from Locust Street to First Street
  •   Westbound lane of Marshall Street from Locust Street to First Street
The closures began December 15, 2025, and will now reopen on Tuesday, March 31, weather permitting.  During the closure, access will remain available to all local properties.
