CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — The Champaign Police Department will recognize its personnel during an upcoming employee awards ceremony this week.

The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on April 9 at the department’s headquarters, located at 82 E. University Ave., in the Tatman and Dodsworth rooms. Members of the Champaign City Council are expected to be in attendance.

Hosted by the police department, the ceremony will honor employees for their service and contributions to the community.
