Downtown Danville Inc. announces Entrepreneur Launch Lab

DANVILLE, IL (Chambana Today) — As part of National Small Business Week, Downtown Danville Inc. will be offering a full day, hands-on business development workshop scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the historic Fischer Theatre as part of the Entrepreneur Launch in Danville.

The Entrepreneur Launch Lab is designed for early-stage founders, small business owners, and anyone exploring a new business idea. This immersive workshop provides practical tools, local insights, and direct connections to help entrepreneurs succeed right here in the downtown district.

This event is hosted by Downtown Danville Inc. and supported by the Vermilion Standard along with several local business sponsors, the Entrepreneur Launch Lab offers a comprehensive, real-world approach to starting or growing a business. This event is sponsored by Downtown Danville. Inc. The Vermilion Standard, Amanda Galloway with Country Financial, Requite Tattoo, Clarity Design Co. Two Roads Wellness Clinic, Fisher National Bank, the City of Danville, Greenwood Inc. and Atlas Total Home.

Those participating will work through the essential building blocks of launching and strengthening a business, including choosing the right legal structure, building a strong brand and marketing strategy, understanding startup costs and financing options, learning about TIF (Tax Increment Financing) grant availability, and other local incentives, identifying and evaluating commercial spaces in downtown Danville, creating a personalized action plan to guide next steps, and connecting with existing small business development professionals and local business mentors.

“Our community is growing, and Danville is experiencing a wave of new energy and investment,” said Kim Kuchenbrod, Executive Director of Downtown Danville Inc. “Entrepreneurs are a driving force behind that momentum. This workshop gives them the tools, the confidence, and the connections to build something great right here at home.”

By the end of the day, participants will walk away with a customized 90-day action plan, a deeper understanding of Danville’s business landscape, new relationships with local experts, peer, and supporters, and the opportunity to tour available real estate for sale or lease.

Registration for the Entrepreneur Launch Lab is now open, with Early Bird pricing at $129 through Friday May 22 and General Admission at$149 thereafter.
