Illinois Marathon set for April 23–25, 2026: “Leave Your Legacy”

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Runners from across the country will descend on east-central Illinois this spring for the 2026 Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend, set for April 23–25 in Champaign-Urbana and Savoy.

With the theme “Leave Your Legacy,” this year’s race weekend offers a wide range of events for athletes of all levels — from first-time 5K participants to seasoned marathoners.

The three-day event includes a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Mile, Youth Run, and the popular Eight I-Challenges, allowing runners to test their endurance in multiple events throughout the weekend.

Organizers encourage early registration and note that the event not only highlights health and fitness but also supports the local economy and brings the community together through volunteer efforts and race-day excitement.
