TUSCOLA, Ill. (Chambana Today) — One deserving veteran in Central Illinois will receive a free water heater and installation this Veterans Day, thanks to a community-focused giveaway from All-Pro Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing, LLC in Tuscola.

As part of its “Veterans Day Giveaway”, All-Pro is calling on residents to nominate a veteran who could benefit from a new gas or electric water heater. The goal: to honor the service and sacrifice of local veterans by providing essential home comfort—free of charge.

“Veterans give so much to our country, and this is one small way we can give back,” the company said in a statement. “We want to make life a little easier for a veteran who truly deserves it.”

How to Nominate

To submit a nomination, send an email to 1allprohvac@gmail.com or mail it to 1100 S. Washington St., Tuscola, IL 61953. Be sure to include:

  • Your name
  • The veteran’s name
  • A brief explanation of why they deserve to be chosen

Nominations are due by November 4, 2025. The winner will be announced on Veterans Day, November 11, via phone and on All-Pro’s Facebook page.

Eligible nominees must:

  • Be a veteran discharged under general or honorable conditions
  • Live within 40 miles of Tuscola
  • Own and live in the home where the water heater will be installed

Discounts for All Nominees

Even if not selected, all veterans nominated will receive 10% off a new water heater if they move forward with a proposal by November 30, 2025.

While the giveaway covers the cost of the water heater and basic installation, the winner will be responsible for any major additional work if needed—such as new gas lines or flue pipe replacement—to meet safety and code requirements.

For questions, contact All-Pro at 217-599-1046.
